EVE SPEAKS: A MUSICAL CABARET
Eve Speaks is a kinky retelling of the Book of Genesis told through live music, performance storytelling and cabaret stylings. It uses ukulele, guitar, raunchy humor and a single microphone to ask: weren't fig leaves the original nipple tassels?
Eve needs to talk. The Serpent's her lover, Adam is flaccid...and the world is her oyster.
Eve Speaks has been shown in whole or excerpted form at Project Arts Centre (Dublin), Hatch: MASS (Nottingham), Brighton Festival Fringe, Bristol Old Vic (Mayfest launch), Bawdsville Burlesque (London), Aberystwyth Storytelling Festival and Galway Theatre Festival.
It has recently developed a mind of its own, and now invites audience members to participate in a one-on-one confessional session with the Torah temptress before or after the show, in exchange for an autographed apple.
